Good Vibrations

"Oom Bop Bop Good Vibrations". This is more than lyrics to the Beach Boy's hit song of the 80s.

This speaks to The Law of Vibration. "Nothing ever rests, everything moves, and everything vibrates, including the human body."

So what exactly does this mean?

I began studying energy frequency over the last few years. I did a self-study to put this law to the test. It all sounded good in theory, but could raising my vibration truly increase my mood, and more importantly, raise my happiness?

I set off on a journey to study my life....I made a list of what made me feel good and what made me feel not-so-good. My intention was to get rid of tasks, events and relationships in my life that didn't bring me joy. I followed the Marie Kondo decluttering approach and reevaluated everything in my home. I cleared my entire home of anything that didn’t spark excitement. Within one weekend, I got rid of bags and boxes of ‘stuff’ that no longer served a purpose in my life. I knew that if I didn’t remove these things, I would allow negativity in, sometimes without even consciously knowing it.

My best friend put it in perfect context for me "you have to clear the algae from the bottom of your pond if you want a clean life".

After testing the law for several months, it became very clear to me that the more I focused on positive vibes, the more goodness entered my life. The more I became clear on what I truly wanted in life, the happier I became. It seems simple. It seems easy. The truth is, it is simple and easy, but like anything, it takes time. Time to study you. Study what really brings you happiness.

The toughest part...being brave and vulnerable enough to let go of the things, people and events that didn’t make the cut. As difficult as it may be to remove yourself from jobs, relationships and commitments that you've allowed in for so long, the removal of the algae will truly liberate you.

Take one small step at a time.

Trust me, as you do this, you'll strip yourself of all negativity and truly love every single day of your life!

Be well,

Cindy
